Model Selection Process

Not all applicants will be selected as models, as availability is limited and candidates are chosen based on their suitability for specific services. Models are selected according to the stylist or barber’s requirements, including hair type, length, texture, and how well the desired look can be achieved.

If you are selected, you will be notified and provided with all the necessary details regarding your session. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee selection, but we encourage you to apply for future opportunities if not chosen this time.

Model Requirements & Policies

Thank you for your interest in being a model at The Hideaway! To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please review the following requirements and policies:

1. Boundaries: As a model, you agree to allow the stylist creative freedom within the scope of the pre-discussed look. This ensures the outcome aligns with the stylist’s vision and portfolio goals. No major changes will occur without prior discussion.

2. Waiver Agreement: All models will be required to sign a waiver acknowledging that these services are for portfolio-building purposes and may not reflect the experience of a standard salon appointment. Photos and videos taken during your session may be used for promotional and artistic purposes.

3. Commitment Fee:

• No-Shows: Models who fail to show up for their scheduled session will be charged a $50 fee.

• Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will also be subject to a $50 fee.

4. Credit Card on File: A valid credit card may be required at the time of booking to secure your spot. This ensures commitment and allows us to plan effectively for your session.

5. Eligibility: Models must be 18 years or older (or have parental consent) and open to the pre-determined styles being offered.
